Abstract
A lantern slide advertisement for sandshoes. The image consists of a drawing that has been photographically transferred onto glass and then hand coloured. A woman dressed in a button up short white dress is shown leaping in the air in some sporting activity that has not been particularised.The setting has a green ground surface and symmetrically placed in the background is a wall flanked by pillars. The wall frames the caption which includes: WE CARRY LARGE STOCKS.
