Description

A native of Honan, who distinguished himself throughout his life by the eccentricity of his conduct. He received good appointments under the early emperors of the Sung dynasty. However his eccentric ways always got him into trouble. He ranks as a poet of no mean order though his work is too unconventional for the ordinary critics.
