Data files.

- e_cons_*.dat
Each row denotes a particular good (see goods_*.dat for the key) and contains a
"n" (necessity), "l" (luxury) or "u" (unconstrained), indicating how the good was
constrained to produce the income elasticity of demand-constrained version of
  the Ideal Afriat Marginal Index.

- subset_*.dat
These files are a legacy of work on testing homotheticity for subsets of countries (in
larger datasets, i.e. containing countries other than OECD countries, homotheticity
is found for only a subset of countries). They are required for the programs to work.

- p_k38_80.dat, q_k38_80.dat
Price and quantity data for 1980. These are the data used by Dowrick and Quiggin (1997).

- p_k40_90.dat, q_k40_90.dat
Price and quantity data for 1990. These are the data used by Dowrick and Quiggin (1997).

- goods_*.dat
The categories of goods and services. These files are not used by the perl programs, but
can be used to interpret the e_cons_*.dat files and also the price and quantity files, where
the labels for the goods and services are not shown.
